I’m Alexa Wells, the human behind Very Sunny Day.
With over a decade of experience in design, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide variety of brands and industries, both in-house and in agency settings.
But through all the projects, one thing became clear: I’m most passionate about branding with purpose and telling stories through intentional, strategic design.
This love for meaningful, thoughtful branding led me to create Very Sunny Day, where I focus on crafting visual identities that reflect the heart of a business, whether it’s a small start-up or an established enterprise.
I’m deeply committed to creating designs that resonate, connect, and make a real impact.
The inspiration behind VSD’s brand came from a simple drawing I did when I was four: a sun.
It might seem like a small, even generic symbol, but it’s one of the most universal representations of positivity, optimism, and authenticity, values that guide how I work, build relationships, and see the world. It’s something I’ve been drawn to for as long as I can remember, and it’s a reminder that even the simplest things can have the greatest impact.
